Takahashi Aluminum Mounting Plate 100

The KA11424 is intended to be mounted atop Takahashi's 95WB tube rings. Its primary function is to reduce flexure in the optical tube assembly (OTA), thereby improving overall stability. This is particularly beneficial when attaching additional equipment such as guide scopes, finders, or cameras.

The plate features multiple mounting holes:

• Two M8 threaded holes spaced 35mm apart along the length of the plate.

• Two M5 threaded holes spaced 28mm apart across the width, compatible with Takahashi finder brackets and the FQR-1 quick-release system.

• A central 1/4-inch threaded hole for attaching standard camera equipment.

Compatibility

The KA11424 is designed to be compatible with Takahashi's FSQ-85EDP telescope, ensuring it does not interfere with the telescope's retractable dew shield. Its versatile mounting options make it suitable for a range of configurations, including piggyback setups for guide scopes or cameras.
